The shooting happened around 12:45 p.m. at the Lord Domains grounds of schools situated on the 8200 block of Fontaine Road, close to Interstate Expressway 580 in Oakland's Oak Glade/Golf Connections area. The site houses four unique schools, including the Narrows Region Innovation School (BayTech), Sojourner Truth Autonomous Review, and the Rudsdale Continuation and Rudsdale Rookie secondary schools, the last option of which serves late migrants ages 16-21 who have escaped viciousness and unsteadiness in their nations of origin.
John Sasaki, a representative for Oakland Bound together School Region, said in a proclamation that locale authorities "have no data past the thing Oakland Police are detailing." He said guides were being made accessible for understudies and he was unable to say whether the schools at the site would be open Thursday.
