Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) holds an important lead over his Popularity based challenger Beto O'Rourke under 50 days out from Final voting day, as per another Emerson School Surveying/The Slope study delivered Tuesday.
Half of Texas electors said they upheld Abbott, while 42% said the equivalent regarding O'Rourke. Five percent of electors said they were unsure, while 2% said they upheld Freedom supporter Imprint Tippetts.
The past Emerson School/The Slope survey on the race, delivered in February, showed Abbott driving O'Rourke 52% to 45 percent. That survey was led preceding the Texas essential in Spring.
